Rolling Around In the Same Dust, Day After Day.

Let the Peace of Christ rule in your hearts - Colossians 3:15

Our minds naturally jump from place to place, tangling itself in anxious knots. Spinning around the same thought until we can't see straight.

This will lead to nothing but a darkened mind thirsting for Christ to satisfy. A mind that's sent Jesus to the background.

Even though He wants to swoop in and change our mindset, He gave us a freedom of mind that He won't violate. Even when He probably should. It's up to us to keep Him in our minds. To include Him in our thoughts. We have to remember that He is always with us. He's there to calm our hearts and minds, to lighten our loads, to satisfy us in ways this world cannot, and to carry our burdens with us.

For us.

"Together, we can handle whatever this day brings," He says.

In this constantly changing world, He gives us the only true source of stability. The One who never changes.

He made the world in perfect order, and order reflecting His perfection. But now, we find ourselves in a world bonded to temporary pleasure. Rolling around in the same dust.

God is involved in every aspect of our lives, whether we see it or not. He carefully maps out every inch of our journey. But because of our world's fallen condition - things always seem to be unraveling around the edges.

Today, we will face troubles. Things are not going to go our way. But we have to trust in the purpose behind it. There's one back there, I promise.

God does too.

His way is perfect, even in the midst of our messy imperfections.
